Brewers Creations — Eric Brewer

Eric Brewer is a disabled Navy veteran, self-taught artist, author, and songwriter based in Sacramento, California. His story is not one of easy success — it is a testimony of survival against impossible odds.

After serving his country in the United States Navy, Eric faced a catastrophic motorcycle accident at 70mph. He survived two clinical deaths, endured 30 surgeries, and battled traumatic brain injury and PTSD. The road back was long, painful, and uncertain.

It was during this recovery that his mother gave him his first set of paintbrushes. Inspired by Bob Ross and guided by God, Eric picked up those brushes and began to paint. He was 49 years old. What started as therapy became a calling.

Today, Eric paints up to three original works a day using the wet-on-wet technique — the same method made famous by Bob Ross. His subjects are drawn from God's creation: mountains, oceans, forests, wildlife, and sky. Each painting is completed in a single session, alive with movement, color, and spirit.

Beyond painting, Eric has published 17 books — memoirs, poetry, and faith-driven reflections on survival and purpose. He writes and performs original songs that carry the same testimony as his art. His work has been exhibited internationally through Biafarin, ARTSY.net, Gallerium, and featured in Novum Artis and Artistonish magazines.

Artist Statement

"I paint because God called me back to life and told me to share His creation with the world. Every painting is a testimony. Every brushstroke is a prayer. I paint what I see in God's world — mountains, oceans, forests, wildlife — and I share it with whoever needs to feel something real."
